Country Green, do you know what I mean?
Debuting at the release party set for Saturday, April 14th along with a stable of bourbon barrel-aged beers, stouts, and a competition-ready porter, we are thrilled to share this unique brew with you. True and pure, Country Green is an American IPA celebrating the verdant beauty of the country with local honey, honey malt, and fragrant hops to create the answer to a poor boy’s dream. We sure as hell hope Don Gibson would be proud.
THE GRITTY DETAILS
Stage Zero: What the hell is it?
An American India Pale Ale headlined by the addition of four pounds of locally sourced honey per barrel added directly into the whirlpool. Spawned from the omnipotent bees of Heritage Prairie Farm in Elburn, the honey is fully fermented but cradled by a bill 8% honey malt with the unmistakable hop aromatics of a honeydew.
American India Pale Ale with Honey 6.5% ABV. $12.99 / 16oz 4-pack
Stage One: General Sales
Saturday, April 14 at 11AM for members of The Old Order and 3PM for the general population in the Solemn Oath Taproom. This beer will be available in the Chicagoland and Wisconsin markets.
Stage Two: Drinking the Beers
These beers are unfiltered and unpasteurized so please keep these beers cold and drink them fresh.
