This November and for a limited time Solemn Oath beers will be pouring across the boroughs of NYC. We’ll be making new friends throughout the day at breweries, bars, restaurants, and many other spots around town and celebrating beer into the wee hours each night.
Driven by exceptionally small brewers and the bars, restaurants, and bottle shops that support them, the NYC beer scene is in the midst of a renaissance. At SOB we’re inspired by the people driving this movement and the culture that surrounds them. We’re heading to NYC to drink some great local beer, witness the madness firsthand, and make some new friends. Come hang with us, or don’t.
SOB brews will be flowing in lots of incredible supporting accounts across the city, keep an eye out while supplies last. We don’t know when we’re coming back.
Here’s the event itinerary:
Tuesday, November 15
As Is NYC at 6PM
734 10th Ave, NY
This is our introduction. We’ll be hanging for a few hours having dinner and cheering beers with anyone who wants to welcome us to the city. Seven SOB beers available.
Wednesday, November 16
Brouwerij Lane at 530PM
78 Greenpoint Ave, Brooklyn
It wouldn’t be a proper Brooklyn kick-off without a trip through Greenpoint’s Brouwerij Lane. Join us here as we make some new friends and raise a glass to these longtime purveyors of great beer. Four SOB beers available.
Double Windsor at 8PM
210 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn
Some of Earth’s best beers, killer burgers, and nothing but communal tables? We’re in. Meet us at this Brooklyn craft beer staple as we crush some Lü. Four SOB beers available.
Thursday, November 17
Covenhoven at 7PM
730 Classon Avenue, Brooklyn
As we head east we thought it only fitting to bring a little bit of Chicago along with us and focus on incredible beer. Wood-aged offerings galore as we host FoBAB Goes East. Transmitter, Singlecut, Threes Brewing, Keg & Lantern, Brooklyn Brewery, Graft Brewing, Other Half, Finback, and Grimm will all be joining us with wood-aged creations of their own.
Sometimes at Solemn Oath we listen to rock and sometimes we listen to rap. On occasion you might hear some jazz, pop, or a splash of early punk. The important thing to realize is that we’re always lively. Always accomplishing something. Always planning for what we hope will not be your favorite new thing, or the brewery’s favorite new thing, but our favorite thing together. Never complacent and always adapting. Changing the world, probably.
